EXAMINATION & PROMOTION
  • The academic session for classes I – VIIIwill be divided into two terms of 100 marks each. Term-1 will comprise of PT-1 and Half Yearly whereas Term-2 will follow PT-2 and Annual Exams.
  • The school will conduct three periodic written tests (Class IX & X) in the entire academic year and the average of best two will be added in the internal assessment. These tests will be held as one mid-term, and the other two pre-mid-term and post mid- term with portion of
  • syllabus cumulatively covered. The Annual Examination (80 Marks) will be conducted at the end of the academic session.
  • Besides these periodic tests, class tests will also be taken weekly.
  • The Assessment structure effective for the Academic Year 2025-26 for classes 1 to 8 will be as follows:

  • A.HALF YEARLY AND ANNUAL EXAMINATION (80 MARKS EACH).
  • B.INTERNAL ASSESSMENT (20 MARKS) comprising of periodic tests (05 marks) + notebook submission (5 marks) + subject enrichment activity (5 marks) + multiple assessment
  • The Assessment structure effective from the Academic Year 2025-26 for classes 9 & 10 will be as follows:

  • A. ANNUAL EXAMINATION (80 MARKS)(Students must secure 33% marks out of 80 marks in each subject in each term).
  • B. INTERNAL ASSESSMENT (20 MARKS)comprising of periodic tests (05 marks) + notebook submission (5 marks) + subject enrichment activity (5 marks) + multiple assessment (05)
  • Note book Maintenance (5 Marks) will be assessed before the end of each term based on the following parameters: a.Regularity b.Assignment Completion c.Neatness and upkeep of Notebook.
  • Subject Enrichment Activities (5 Marks) like ASL/ Reading/ Dictation /Debate/Public Speaking etc. (for Languages), Lab Activities/ Project Work /Map Work/ Model Making/ Field Trips etc. will be conducted for assessment.
  • Co- Scholastic Area will cover Work Education/ Art Education/Music/Dance/Health and Physical Education. The activities based on this area will be assessed on a 3-point grading scale (I - VIII), 5-point grading scale (IX & X) by the concerned teacher. The grading will not have any descriptive indicators and students will not be upgraded on the Co-Scholastic grades.
  • Students will also be graded by the class teachers for discipline considering the attendance, sincerity, behaviour and values.
  • 80% attendance is compulsory for all classes and no relaxation of any kind will be granted to any student who does not fulfill the school as well as the Board requirements.
  • Board Examination for class 10 will be held towards the end of academic session 2025-26.
  • Wilfull breach of any regulations pertaining to this conduct of this examination will lead to expulsion from the examination, or if subsequently discovered, with the cancellation of the paper. Students absenting themselves from the school just before the examination will be strictly dealt with.
  • Result declared at the end of the year is final in all cases and will not be reconsidered
